Making fall accessible

In 2020, founder Jennifer Dobson visited a pumpkin patch with her two children. Because of a lack of accessibility for her daughter Lily, who uses a wheelchair, the visit was emotionally and physically challenging for the entire family. The following year, Jennifer looked out on the six acres of land where her home sits and thought: We could create our own pumpkin patch, focused on eliminating accessibility barriers.

In 2021, The Rolling Pumpkin Patch welcomed its first visitors. Through increasing participation each year and the contact Jennifer has initiated with other parents of children with greater accessibility needs, she recognized that she needed to fill an even greater gap - one that educated the community on the importance of accessibility, advocated for greater access, and provided meaningful experiences to children with accessibility conditions beyond a single annual event. In response, the NoLimitLily Foundation was born in 2024.

Our impact

For the past four years, the Rolling Pumpkin Patch has grown into a beloved annual event, serving over 1,000 people in 2024! We've even extended our reach by providing field trip days for local schools, ensuring special needs students have the opportunity to experience the magic of the patch.

The Rolling Pumpkin Patch is a symbol of our commitment to breaking down barriers and building a more inclusive world. It's the heart of our foundation, driving our mission to provide accessibility support, educational opportunities, and life-enriching experiences for children and adults with mobility challenges.
